Apariencia: color marrón oscuro con toques rojizos. Corona media, persistente, de color beige, bastante carbónico aparente.
Aroma: intenso, vinagre de módena, caramelo, toque funky, madera.
Sabor: intenso, un poco más vinagre de lo normal, dulce, no seca, muy refrescante, frutas oscuras, pasas, ciruelas, higos, toque de madera. En la boca no se nota tanto el carbónico. Alcohol muy bien integrado.
Maridaje: quesos grasos, foie.
Vaso recomendado: flauta.
ABV: 5,5%

Opinión personal: si entendí bien al tipo del bar en el que me tomé esta birra en Brujas, es una mezcla entre una ale y una lambic envejecida en roble durante 18 meses. Mientras que la mayoría de las Oud Bruin son una mezcla de una misma cerveza de distintas añadas. Por eso es bastante curiosa, aunque el sabor no es demasiado diferente de otras Oud Bruin. La cerveza en sí me gustó bastante, compensada, equilibrada, con muchos matices, mejor que otras mas comerciales dentro del estilo, pero sin llegar a ser una Aardmonnik o una Liefmans.
